Credit Counselling Singapore (CCS) is proud to be a community-based partner organisation providing learning opportunities for young seniors aged 50 years and above.
We conduct courses on managing “everyday” money effectively, being financially self-reliant in retirement and maintaining mental health.
Basics of Smart Money Management (C3A Financial Literacy Curriculum)
To ensure our financial well-being as we enter our golden years, it is important for us to be able to make smart decisions involving our “everyday” money.
Attend this fun-filled course to learn:
1. How to manage your money effectively.
2. How to access CPF information online.
3. How to make cashless payments securely using SGQR code.
4. How to protect yourself from scams and stay safe.
5. Key government schemes that support retirement, ageing and healthcare.
This course is available in English.
Net course fee payable: $26.10 (inclusive of GST and after NSA subsidy)
Applicable for Singaporean and PR, aged 50 and above.
Full course fee $90 (excluding GST) for all others.

Retirement - Are You Financially Ready?
There are already many talks, workshops and courses that focuses on building wealth and planning early for retirement. But what if you are already into your 50s and worry about having enough savings in your retirement?
Attend this hands-on course to:
1. Do a stock take of your assets and liabilities.
2. Do a projection of your retirement income and expenses.
3. Familiarise yourself with key government schemes such as CPF LIFE, MediShield Life, CareShield Life and HDB monetisation schemes.
This course is available in both English and Manadrin.
Net course fee payable: $29.00 (inclusive of GST and after NSA subsidy)
Applicable for Singaporean and PR, aged 50 and above.
Full course fee $100 (excluding GST) for all others.

Healthy Minds for Healthy Lives (C3A Mental Health Curriculum)
Ageing may be a stressful experience for some but there are things we can do to enhance our mental well-being and live a healthy, fulfilling life.
Attend this fun-filled 3-hour course and learn how to:
1. Recognise the common issues connected with ageing that can have an impact on one’s mental well-being.
2. Be aware of the techniques and resources to prevent and manage prevalent mental health concerns.
3. Cultivate positive attitudes that foster and safeguard mental health.

This course is available in English.

About the National Silver Academy (NSA)
The National Silver Academy (NSA) is a network of post-secondary education institutions (PSEIs) (i.e. ITE, polytechnics, universities and arts institutions) and community-based organisations (CBOs) that offer learning opportunities that are subsidised for seniors. Seniors and PRs aged 50 years and above can look forward to attending short courses and bite sized courses that are exam free.
For courses run by community-based organisations, the final fee payable by seniors (both Singaporeans and PRs) takes into account the support given by the government to community-based organisations to develop and offer the short courses.

About Council for Third Age (C3A)
The Council for Third Age (C3A), set up in May 2007, is an agency which promotes active ageing in Singapore through public education, outreach and partnerships. As an umbrella body in the active ageing landscape, with its focus on senior learning and volunteerism, as well as positive ageing, C3A works with and through partners to help third agers age well. C3A is appointed to administer the National Silver Academy (NSA).
