Enterprise Debt Management Programme
The Enterprise Debt Management Programme (EDMP) is an extension of our long-standing consumer debt restructuring service. The EDMP is meant to help businesses that have ceased or in the process of ceasing operations to make repayments for outstanding unsecured debts remaining.
EDMP is a monthly instalment debt repayment plan, worked out on a best effort basis, to repay unsecured debts within a reasonable time frame, and subject to creditors approval.
Credit Counselling Singapore (CCS) makes an appeal for repayment arrangements on behalf of small business owners, to enable them to repay creditors (banks and non-bank financial institutions) any unsecured business debts that remain after the cessation of business.
If the business owner has difficulties with unsecured personal debts, these may be addressed under CCS Consumer Debt Management Programme (DMP), subject to assessment by our Financial Counsellor.
